Event dedicated to the 95th anniversary of honored scientist Suren Zohrabyan

The 95th anniversary event of Professor, honored scientist and academician of Eurasian Academy of Neurosurgery Suren Zohrabyan, was held at the Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi.  The event was attended by Suren Khachatryan, Deputy Minister of Healthcare, Natan archbishop Hovhannisyan, Ara Minasyan, Director of Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center, Ruben Mirzakhanyan, Rector of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, Heads of Medical Centers of Yerevan, representatives of healthcare.

In his opening speech, Mikayel Narimanyan, Rector of YSMU, congratulated the anniversary of distinguished doctor and stated, 'During those 95 years you have gone a glorious way, achieved everything each doctor would strive to achieve. You saved many lives, educated students who today successfully continue your deed. To create a professional school is a difficult but an important task, which you implemented on the bases of the best traditions of neurosurgery. I cordially wish you a good health and many years of life'.

The Deputy Minister of Healthcare Suren Khachatryan presented the message of RA President Serzh Sargsyan, in which it was mentioned, 'I cordially congratulate your 95th birthday anniversary. You are one of our honored doctors, who have also been recognized and appreciated abroad. Your contribution to the national medicine development process and introduction of neurosurgery in our country is highly appreciated. About 75 years of your life you dedicated to one of the highest humanitarian missions, performed the most complex surgical procedures. It is gratifying that today you continue your job and pedagogical activity with the same enthusiasm. I wish you a good health, happiness and all the best'.

At the end of the event Professor, honored scientist and academician of Eurasian Academy of Neurosurgery Suren Zohrabyan expressed his gratitude to everyone for warm wishes.
