Citizens of Russia will be able to come to Armenia with internal passports

RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs made an announcement about it. There’s already an agreement with Russia to make it happen without visa regime.

Naturally, it’ll be good stimulus for Russians to travel to Armenia. In addition, many employees of state buildings  who can’t leave their country because of their services, will be able to come to Armenia. It’ll also be comfortable for the citizens who don’t have foreign passport.

According to the official data in 2015 1.2 million tourists visited Armenia and 500.000 from them were Russians.

Apart from the main tourist destinations, Armenia offers medical tourism too. The medical service in Armenia thanks to the latest technologies, equipments and highly trained professionals has moved to a new level. At the same time the high-quality medical service is offered at very affordable prices.

The development of Armenian tourism is promoted by high availability of transportation and living, low food prices.
