5th National Pediatrics Conference in Yerevan
The 5th National Conference of Pediatricians, organized by the Armenian Pediatric Association with the support of the Ministry of Health, has brought together more than 350 specialists from around Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh. Levon Altunyan, Minister of Health, briefly talked about ongoing projects. In his report, Minister highlighted the importance of enhancement of doctors’ professional skills and knowledge. Meantime he promised to find ways for appropriate evaluation of the work done by doctors.
The conference featured lectures, reports and remarkable clinical cases on issues related to general pediatrics, pediatric endocrinology, oncology and pediatric surgery. A number of prominent professors from Switzerland, Russia and Georgia, who visited for this special purpose, delivered lectures.
