During the first visit with patient, doctor dentist carries pre – examination and collection of anamnesis for assessing general condition, after which computer tomography is carried out to determine the bone density and thickness as well as the implant optimal size.

The next stage is the oral cavity scanning which gives information about hard and soft tissues. With the help of special computer program it will be possible to have a virtual view of the patient’s surgery which in turn enables to pre select the optimal implant placement position (keep the axis on the right center), the required slope and orthopedic construction type. And only after this the surgery is performed with a completed plan. The virtual examination activities are carried out without the presence of patient. It can be arranged to have the virtual view during one day after which the implant can be placed immediately. The number of implants does not matter in terms of time.

For preparatory work and surgical intervention the patient spends a day in the Clinic. In case of open incision stitches are removed after 10 days and the patient can leave the Clinic if no complications are found.

 We combine the computer examination information from the results of TRIOS 3shape scanners and with the help of special computer program we get virtual surgery planning. With the help of 3D printers we receive the surgical template of the above mentioned planning.

Implantation can be carried out using either a one-stage or two-stage procedure, depending on your particular clinical circumstances. In the first case the patient may leave the clinic after the implant is installed. Two-stage surgery will be necessary if there is a need to increase the quantity of bone at the site. First, bone graft is carried out after which the patient can leave and then come back for the next stage of implant installation. While applying two stage surgery it will be not right to install the implant immediately, as the operated bone tissue undergoes biological processes, i.e. osseointegration, which takes time.

It is strongly advised that you wait 15-20 days after a sinus problem as the bone graft may be removed as a result of air pressure variation.

The patient supervision period is very individual and it may vary from 4 to 9 months. During healing, sinus is filled during which implant fuses with the surrounding jaw bone.  This will take 9 months. After this time, the implant is stable enough to support the placement of tooth (during two stage procedure, temporal construction is placed before the final implant placement).

As the lower jaw has high bone density, fusion proceeds more quickly and after 2 months the final orthopedic construction can be placed. The temporal construction placed on the upper jaw is removed after 4 to 8 months and the final implant is installed.

During implantation process various components are used.For bone graft procedure various materials are used, such as cavernous mass or bone blocks. Either artificial bone block can be applied for the procedure or a section of bone can be taken from the other part of the patient's jaw on which the implant is installed. Ceramic or metal ceramic is used for implant restorations. They are produced in different countries, mainly in Germany and Austria.

After getting the virtual template the required construction is ordered in the laboratory. The temporal implant is ready after 1 to 5 days; where as the final product requires 5 to 10 days depending on the size.

When 6-8 implants are installed on toothless jaw the procedure is carried out segment by segment. When 4-6 implants are installed, the collection of it by segments and connection of implants through bridges become impossible and it becomes necessary to install the whole construction.
